The royal game of Ur is an ancient two-player strategy race game. We find the game very balanced (for brief rules, please click here). It keeps both players engaged throughout the play and leaves them with the sense of fairness, which is hard to come by nowadays :)

This lineup of royal game of Ur boards is made of baltic birch plywood and finished with environmentally friendly water-based stains and finish. The boards feature subtle carvings and offer a variety of fun, eye-catching colours: red, blue, grey, emerald, and mauve (more colours to come).

Dimensions of the board: 6” W, 15” L, min 3/4” H.

Included with each board:

• two sets of 7 game pieces made of solid maple (colours of your choice)

• 4 D6 dice with pass/fail - 50/50

• black velvet pouch for game pieces
