Happy Holidays 2020 Edition

What a year! I am actually inclined to just leave it at that lol kidding aside, it has been a challenging year for all and we truly hope that the obstacles and hardships that this year brought taught us some valuable lessons. Globalities aside, we learnt that “right now” matters, that we may not get “tomorrow”, and we must cherish what we’ve got. We have a lot to be thankful for and a lot to be hopeful about. The latter, however, requires a lot of effort on humanity’s part. It’s a collective and conscious effort on everyone’s part to do better than we’ve been doing over the past hundred years. We should be focusing not on GDP or GNP upticks but preservation of ecosystems and symbiotic relationships of numerous species. There is no “getting back to normal”, there was never any “normal”, our so-called “normal” has got us here. The new decade is the time to rethink and redesign our brutally misguided “normal” before it’s too late - and this is where the hope comes into play. Let’s all lead by example, let’s all do no harm, let’s all think before we do.

Cheers,
