Fall is in the air: it’s a beautiful, exciting, and very busy time of the year. In addition to our regular daily activities, fall always brings lots and lots of harvesting and volunteering fun. This year we converted our front and backyards into full blown vegetable and fruit gardens, and it’s Sam’s 2nd year of full season volunteering for Hidden Harvest Ottawa - a wonderful organization which year after year ensures that “fruit and nuts that would otherwise go to waste on public and private property are rescued by groups of volunteers through insured harvest events.”
During these uneasy times, we would like to encourage all of the crokinole lovers to continue supporting local communities and help out each other as much as we all can. We may not have tomorrow, but we have today, and we might as well may it count <3
